Chili and Christmas Cookies

With only a few days left before Christmas, I am working hard to get last minute preparations done! Today I have made a couple batches of Christmas cookies and a big pot of chili, both recipes that I am going to share with you today :)

My family is pretty lazy when it comes to Christmas cookies. We usually just make a couple of batches of chocolate chip Reese cup cookies and swap some out with Hershey kisses (I was allergic to peanut butter as a kid). These are pretty much the easiest cookies to make. The worst part is unwrapping all the candy and that isn't even difficult!

Chocolate Chip Candy Cookies
-1 package of precut cookie dough
-24 individually wrapped candies (Reese's, Hershey kisses, etc)

Directions
-Preheat oven to 350 degrees
-Grease a 24 count mini muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray
-Place cookie dough pieces in muffin tin
-Bake cookies for 8 minutes or until golden brown
-Remove cookies from oven and immediately press a piece of candy into the middle of each cookie
-Let cool and enjoy

The days leading up to Christmas are hard enough to deal with to make sure we have everything together without having to think about what you're going to cook for dinner. My family loves chili because it is delicious and so easy to make. I've decided to share with y'all our go-to recipe for chili.

-1/2 t cayenne pepper
-1 t basil
-1 t onion powder
-1 t paprika
-1/2 t black pepper
-1/2 t white pepper
