What a Weekend!

For those of you that do not know, I am a country concert junkie. I have seen a lot of different artists over the years. I'm always discovering new artists on Pandora or YouTube. Over a year ago, I heard a song called "I Go Back" by Chris Lane and immediately fell in love with his voice, so then I ventured over to YouTube to fall in love all over again, not only with him, but his songs as well.

I'm from a small town, so we only have one bar (if you would even call it that) in town that has a small name country artist come and perform periodically. I've seen people like Love and Theft and Dustin Lynch perform there. I was checking their website last month randomly to see if anyone good was coming and who just happened to be scheduled for November? Chris freakin Lane. I immediately flipped shit and called my best friend to tell her the news, then she proceeded to flip out and I bought the tickets. Twelve bucks for one of the best nights of my whole life. Chris and I have had conversations on Twitter before and I had to tweet him to share my excitement that I was finally seeing him.

We got there super early last night to make sure we got a spot right up front. Gotta love general admission ;) He was seriously one of the best performers I have ever seen. I was like a ten year old at a One Direction concert. I fangirled so hard. At one point, he was singing a cover of "Let Me Love You" by Mario and sang to me for like five seconds and I seriously could have died it was so cute.

Lastly, I got to MEET him. After the show, he came out and let people take pictures and get autographs with him. He gave me a huge hug and thanked us for coming out, and hoped to see us again sometime. He was seriously so sweet and nice!
