Ugh, Monday again. The weekends during the school year always seem to fly by! Only four and a half weeks of class left. Thank goodness because I am SO ready for a break! I needed a little pick-me-up this afternoon, which you can see was a drink from Dunkin Donuts on campus. As I've said before, I'm not a big hot coffee fan, so today I opted for a dunkaccino (hot chocolate/cappuccino mix) and it was the best decision I made all day.
Excuse the unpolished nail.
I decided to start this chilly Monday out by posting some of my favorite things during the cold winter months for staying warm! But mainly what keeps me warm during the cold later games during football season!
Carhartt All-Season Boot Sock- I own so many pairs of these that I have actually lost count. They are so warn and comfy. They are also well made, so I can see them lasting for a long time. I like to wear them around the house, but they are also good for chilly football games. When it's really cold, I like to put a pair of fuzzy socks under them!
Under Armour ColdGear Compression Mock- This is another item that's great for spending a lot of time in the chilly outdoors. Once it gets colder, I am always wearing these under my clothes to football games to help keep me warm. I love how many different colors they come in, and Amazon has them for a great price.
LL Bean Winter Warmer Jacket- I got this jacket last year after deciding that fleece jackets were not enough to deal with the harsh winters in Blacksburg. It has a nice soft and warm lining on the inside and is not even much of a hassle to carry around or fold when you aren't wearing it.
Weatherproof Heat Last Therma Fleece Pants- I just ordered these pants after realizing that sweater leggings under my jeans were not going to cut it for our last few home football games. I am excited to try them. I was just about to buy Under Armour ColdGear leggings when these caught my eye while browsing the Cabela's website, and they were a hell of a lot cheaper than the Under Armour ones. Not only that, but they were also half off making them even cheaper.
Thinsulate Gloves- I got my first pair of these fleece gloves a few years ago, and I own two pairs now because I kept loosing them. These keep my hands so warm and they're not too thick so you are still able to drive with them on.
Chunky Knit Infinity Scarf- I LOVE these scarves from Old Navy! Over the years, they have had a bunch of different colors. I can't help but want one in every color! They also are super warm.
Fleece Headbands- I have never been able to pull off a beanie, so I usually just stick to a fleece headband that covers my ears, even though they tend to make my hair crazy afterwards! I haven't found one that is my absolute favorite yet, so I will just have to keep looking!
xo, K
