Impending First Snow & Walmart Grocery Pickup + $10 Off

I am prepping for our first snow storm of the season! The one thing I hate to do right before it is supposed to snow is go grocery shopping with every single other person in town. I have done Kroger ClickList a couple of times before when I seriously had no time to do anything. This week was one of those crazy weeks, so I decided to do online grocery shop and pick up my stuff after work. I looked at Kroger first, and they had nothing available until Monday at either of the Kroger locations in town. I knew my local Walmart had started doing pick up, so I decided to download the App and see if they had any available time slots.

Lucky for me, they had plenty of open slots for this afternoon. I put everything I wanted in my cart, used my $10 off coupon code, and scheduled my FREE pickup time for this afternoon. About an hour before pickup time, I got a text and an App notification that my order was ready for my 4:00 pick up time. I got to Walmart around 4:15 and saw that all 8 pickup spots were full. I waited for about 5 minutes before I was able to get into a pickup spot. While I waited, I was able to check in so that my order would come out faster. As soon as I was able to pull into a spot, I was able to select on the App the spot I was in and wait for my order. Less than a minute later, the lady came out and loaded everything in my trunk. It was that easy!

I got home and unloaded everything. I am always weary about letting someone else pick out my produce (especially bananas and avocados), but everything looked great! Only one of my items had to be substituted, and they upgraded my item without increasing the cost.
