Over my break, I took the time to do one of my favorite hobbies, leasurely reading. I read four books over the course of Christmas break, so I thought I would share my thoughts on the books with y'all!
1. Maybe In Another Life by Taylor Jenkins Reid- A person I follow on Instagram said she couldn't put this book down, so I decided to give it a try. This book tells the story of a girl and how a single choice could change the path of her life. This story follows the main character in flip flopping chapters over how her life will turn out if she does one thing or if she chooses to do another. It's a pretty quick, light read if anyone is looking for one!
2. Forever, Interrupted by Taylor Jenkins Reid- I really fell in love with this author after reading Maybe In Another Life, so I chose to read another book of her's. This book tells the story of a girl whose new husband dies only a week and a half after they are married. This is another flip flopping chapter story so it switches between the main character's life up to her husband's death and how she deals with her husband's death after the matter. Another quick, light read!
3. After I Do by Taylor Jenkins Reid- Clearly, I really liked this author ;) This book is about a girl who thinks her marriage is falling apart and she and her husband choose to take a year off from marriage to see if they can find a way back to each other. Let me tell you, this book had me laughing and crying and I couldn't put it down. This was probably my favorite book by Reid with Maybe In Another Life coming in close second.
4. See Me by Nicholas Sparks- Holy crap. This book. 482 pages and I couldn't put it down. This is not your typical Nicholas Sparks book at all. Of course there is a love story, but there is also a really suspenseful story that takes place as well. I don't want to spoil it, so I won't say anything else other than this book is a MUST read.
